Right of Way Agent

About the role

This position is based in the TNP Fort Worth office and provides an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of an innovative, growth-oriented professional firm.

Responsibilities

• Review title reports and identify issues that create an encumbrance on the title
• Review appraisal reports and answer property owner questions concerning the methodology of establishing value
• Negotiate property rights for the construction of public works projects proposed by Cities, Counties, Utility Districts, and the State of Texas
• Drive to properties, meetings, and other business events as needed
• Assist in preparing initial notice letters, offer letters, memorandum of agreements/sales contracts, final offer letters, and other documents required to secure clear title on a property
• Work cooperatively with title companies to schedule property closings
• Review construction plans sufficiently to explain project impacts on a particular property

Requirements

Education/Licensure

• High School Graduate
• Texas Real Estate Sales or Broker's License
• BA Degree from an accredited college with a major in business, finance, or other related studies (desired)

Professional

• 2 years experience in real estate or service-oriented industry
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
• Responsive and results-oriented in service to clients
• Committed to personal and professional growth and development
• Motivated to contribute to the growth of our company
• Demonstrated ability to develop solid working relationships with other team members
• Possess a valid driver's license

Pay
