Rigger II (2nd Shift)
Essential Duties And Qualifications
- The ability to follow written instructions.
- Experience, or the ability to learn how to turn, move, and position large components and materials weighing up to 150 tons.
- Experience, or the ability to learn how to safely use rigging equipment to support lifts, moves, and positioning of components.
- Experience, or the ability to learn how to operate material handling equipment, including cranes, pendant cranes, radio-controlled cranes, lift trucks, and shop mules.
- Experience, or the ability to learn how to read and interpret rigging charts, load information, and related instructions.
- Experience, or the ability to learn how to properly install, remove, inspect, and use rigging equipment, including slings, hooks, chains, shackles, and other lifting devices.
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment, large components, moving loads, and other manufacturing hazards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and outside transport personnel to coordinate safe and efficient material movement.
- Must adhere to all safety requirements, safe work practices, and required personal protective equipment guidelines.
- Must be a motivated person with the desire to either obtain or build on your existing knowledge/skills.
- Good communication skills - ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
- Good attendance.
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday from 3:30PM to 11:55PM.
Pay
Current wage is $29.93, plus a $2.00 shift differential for 2nd shift. 2nd shift is Monday-Friday 3:30 PM to 11:55 PM.
Schedule
