Rheumatology Physician (MD/DO) | MUSC Health Lancaster County, SC

About the role

MUSC Health Catawba Division is seeking a board certified or board eligible Rheumatologist to join a collaborative team in one of the fastest growing regions in South Carolina to care for the rapidly growing local population of Lancaster County, SC. This position will have the opportunity to grow a practice with the support of excellent local hospital staff, hospitalists, intensivists and general surgeons. As a partner and collaborator with our academic medical center, you’ll have access to advanced technologies such as specialty and sub-specialty diagnostic support, and direct affiliation with clinical centers.

Responsibilities

• Care for the rapidly growing local population of Lancaster County, SC
• Mainly outpatient with little to no hospital coverage
• Grow MUSC’s Rheumatology services in the region
• Teach internal medicine and family medicine residents

Requirements

• BC/BE in Rheumatology

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
