Rheumatology Physician

About the role

Hospital-employed rheumatology position in Georgia, joining an experienced board‑certified rheumatologist and nurse practitioner. The clinic operates Monday‑Friday, is fully staffed with an LPN, two certified medical assistants, and a phlebotomist, and has established patient volumes allowing up to 20 patients per day. The practice uses the systemwide EPIC EMR. Interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound is preferred but not required, and current fellows will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rheumatology care, seeing up to 20 patients per day.
• Collaborate with LPN, medical assistants, and phlebotomist in a team‑based clinic.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and order entry.
• Optionally perform musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree.
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Rheumatology.
• Current US work visa (US residency not required).
• Willingness to work in a hospital‑employed, Monday‑Friday clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound (preferred).
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system.
• Ability to see up to 20 patients daily in an established rheumatology practice.
• Current fellows are eligible for consideration.
