Responsibilities

The successful candidate will practice Rheumatology, commit to clinical care, supervise residents and students. Responsibilities may include leading the Division of Rheumatology and supporting faculty development of Rheumatologists.

Qualifications

  • M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Rheumatology
  • Demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action

Departmental Preferences

  • Board certified/eligible in Pediatric Rheumatology
  • Expertise in building clinical and research teams and mentoring established and junior researchers and trainees
  • Experience in clinical, translational, or basic research, as well as in quality, health services and outcomes, epidemiology, implementation and dissemination research, or medical informatics
  • Established applicant with a clinical, translational, or basic research program looking to expand personal research efforts and nucleate development of a larger program that includes investigators focused on areas of rheumatic or non-rheumatic pediatric medicine
