RHEUMATOLOGY

About the role

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a BE/BC Rheumatologist to join the multi-specialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Consulting on, examining, diagnosing, and managing patients with autoimmune diseases, including lupus, Sjogren’s, myositis and other musculoskeletal, joint, and connective tissue conditions.
• Performing joint aspirations and/or injections as indicated
• Ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests (e.g., laboratory, imaging, chemical pathology)
• Serve as faculty in the Allergy/Immunology Fellowship program at MHS
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Division of Immunology, Allergy and Rheumatology on shared patients whose diseases intercept both disciplines.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology
• Experience in rheumatology is preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current Florida Medical License
• Passing scores on the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK
