About the role

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Rheumatology, Assistant/Associate/Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Supervision and teaching of Internal Medicine Residents and Medical Students
  • Teaching experiences at the University Medical Center (UMC)
  • Providing care to more than 10,000 patients per month in 17 primary care and specialty care clinics
  • Offering comprehensive mix of inpatient and ambulatory teaching experiences

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency program
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Rheumatology
  • Nevada State Board of Pharmacy license and DEA license
  • Malpractice coverage meeting credentialing requirements
  • Privileges at University Medical Center (UMC) and other site locations as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications: M.D. or D.O. degree, residency program completion, board certification/eligibility in Rheumatology, Nevada medical license, DEA license, malpractice coverage, privileges at UMC
  • Preferred qualifications: Research publications, group practice experience, teaching experience
