About the role
The James J. Peters VA Medical Center is seeking a Rheumatologist to be an integral part of the Rheumatology Service at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center. The incumbent applicant should possess leadership, energy, compassion, and commitment to serve those who serve our Country.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for patients with rheumatologic disorders
- Perform bedside musculoskeletal ultrasound
- Supervise Rheumatology fellows, Internal Medicine residents and medical students
- Engage in clinical research projects already underway, and develop new initiatives
Requirements
- Completed fellowship training in Rheumatology
- Board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology
- Full, unrestricted medical license in any state
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an approved school
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery
- Completed residency training in an accredited program
