Rheumatologist - Physician - Silvis, IL - Growing practice, future leadership opportunity

The MercyOne Genesis Silvis Rheumatology practice is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist for a full-time employment opportunity.

About the role

The position offers a competitive compensation package including a two-year guarantee of $330k, transitioning to a wRVU model with a $120k recruitment incentive. Other benefits include a relocation allowance up to $15,000, generous paid time off, a CME allowance of $6,000 annually, malpractice coverage, and health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care to patients with rheumatic diseases
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Participate in research and education initiatives related to rheumatology
• Assist in the development and growth of the practice

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with board certification/eligibility in Rheumatology
• Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted license to practice in Illinois
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

Qualifications

• Experience in rheumatology is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
