About the role

Join a collaborative team of seven Board Certified Allergists/Immunologists, and Rheumatologists as well as five Advanced Practice Providers. Call schedule of 1:4. Extensive opportunities for medical education and clinical research if interested. With five locations serving the Rochester area, our services are easy and convenient for our patients. This includes a State-of-the-art Infusion Center, which offers a relaxed setting for our patients who require IV immunoglobulin replacement and intravenous therapy for their rheumatologic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Shape the future of healthcare in central and western New York and make the lives of our patients better; easier and healthier.
• Lead a team of physicians and advanced practice providers in providing comprehensive rheumatologic care.
• Participate in medical education and clinical research initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new treatment protocols and research projects.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certification in Rheumatology
• Licenses / Certifications: Physician - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
• Physical Requirements: L - Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly; requires occasional walking, standing or squatting.

Qualifications

• Experience in rheumatology is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
