About the role

We are seeking an experienced BC/BE Rheumatologist to join a growing Department of Medicine in Waco, TX. The position is an employed, outpatient‑only role with no hospital coverage or research duties. Voluntary teaching and academic appointments may be available. The practice is located in a multi‑specialty clinic in a vibrant community known for its culture and outdoor activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinical rheumatology services across all aspects of the specialty.
• Utilize the Epic EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) degree.
• Medical licensure in Texas.
• Board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology.
• Completion of a rheumatology fellowship.
• Preferred: prior clinical practice experience to help establish the rheumatology service line.
