RF Power Amplifier Design Engineer, Principal

Job Overview

MACOM seeks a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to design solid-state power amplifiers at RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave frequencies. The successful candidate will be a prolific RF designer with a proven track record of product development, a great communicator, and dedicated to improving the state of the art of modern RF systems.

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing UHF, microwave, or millimeter-wave solid-state amplifiers.
• Experience in the use of design tools such as Microwave Office, ADS, or other similar tools.
• Ability to analyze and resolve highly complex technical problems quickly and independently.
• Design experience in meeting Military and High-Rel requirements is desired.
• Ability to work onsite with a team including mechanical engineers, process engineers, and electrical engineers.
• Ability to work in a lab environment to test and verify amplifier designs against rigid specifications.
• Must be able to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing.

Pay

The Salary Range for this position is $98,000-$135,000. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
