In this internship opportunity at Skyworks, you will learn and participate in developing advanced, state-of-the-art RF front-end modules, working with seasoned engineering professionals and collaborating with subject matter experts within Skyworks. Responsibilities
- Working with experienced engineers to design/develop multi-chip modules
- Designing semi-lumped RF matching networks, integrated passive devices, couplers, etc.
- Running simulations using design tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, etc.
- Participating and presenting in design reviews
- Performing lab testing using standard RF test equipment
- Troubleshooting and resolving design or technical issues
- Collaborating with other engineers and technicians
Requirements
- Fundamental knowledge of RF/EM circuits, devices, and Smith charts
- Must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering MS (preferred) or Ph.D. program
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to start in January 2027
- Commitment to work onsite for 6 months
Skills

- Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience in a lab using a network analyzer and other RF instruments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of PA/LNA design is a plus
Pay
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
