Responsibilities
- Play a crucial role in reverse engineering existing NAVWAR signal processing solutions.
- Synthesize, allocate, and derive system requirements to create a fully defined and mission-compliant system architecture.
- Support the development and implementation of client requirements for RF solutions, including services, products, technologies, and capabilities tailored for airborne mission environments.
- Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) testing on systems susceptible to denial or deception of PNT/GPS.
- Support technical reviews of vendor hardware and software products and deliverables.
- Create software algorithms and models for simulation.
- Research state-of-the-art signal processing algorithms.
- Collaborate with both internal and external customers to integrate solutions into a diverse range of applications and use cases.
- Debug, test, and validate capabilities through unit tests and scenarios reported by the JNWC or JNWC Customers, ensuring the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Must possess an active Interim Secret clearance with eligibility to upgrade to Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in an engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering) or a related field.
- Research and Development Experience: Proven experience in researching and developing multi-function small form factor payloads for NAVWAR-based missions.
- Algorithmic Modeling: Demonstrated ability to develop and analyze models of novel algorithmic concepts to produce distributed electronic sensing effects for NAVWAR payloads.
- Leadership Experience: Prior leadership or management experience in higher-level roles, showcasing the ability to lead teams and projects effectively.
- Other Relevant Skills: Familiarity with RF modeling and simulation tools, experience with signal processing, and knowledge of electronic warfare principles.
Pay
The proposed salary range for this position is $71,500 - $150,200. Final salary will be determined based on a variety of factors including geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
