Responsibilities

• mason level circuit feasibility simulations, topology studies, evaluation of stack parameters, and their trade-offs
• Taking measurements of finished products to validate performance
• Compiling complicated results and sharing with the team in a clean, concise, well-organized format or design review
• Tape out new filter design
• EM simulations as necessary

Requirements

• University student, currently enrolled in an MSEE/PhD Program in the field of RF & Microwaves and/or acoustics (BAW preferred, but will consider other similar acoustic fields)
• Must be able and available to work starting June/July of 2027
• Periodic online meetings with our international team may be required

Skills

• Strong understanding of RF and Microwaves
• Strong understanding of S-Parameters
• Knowledge of acoustic resonators physics is a plus
• Understanding of ladder filter topology and design technique

Pay

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour (Non‑Engineering intern range is USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour). Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks maintains different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.

Schedule

This is an onsite internship at the Skyworks Andover, MA design center, running from June/July through December 2027.
