Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of related experience
  • May have a post-secondary degree or training in RF / Microwave engineering
  • Experience testing, tuning, and troubleshooting microwave circuits
  • Knowledge of RF/ microwave test equipment is required, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and phase noise analyzers
  • Expertise with reviewing and interpreting technical documentation such as specifications, schematic diagrams and test data is required
  • Candidate must have an interim secret security clearance before starting the position, therefore you must be a US Citizen

What You Will Be Doing

The RF / microwave engineer will support the manufacturing of complex multi-function modules used in challenging high reliability applications.

  • Analysis and troubleshooting of circuits for advanced electronic modules, including amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits and frequency conversion circuits
  • Technical support to our manufacturing operation to resolve assembly and test issues
  • Collaboration with other engineering disciplines, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers as well as technicians and manufacturing support personnel

Desired Skills

  • Professional experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated academic achievement in the field of RF
  • Familiarity with RF / microwave circuit simulation or 3D electromagnetic simulation tools
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • An active Secret Clearance
