RF Design Engineer (Must be US Citizen)

About the role

IERUS seeks a skilled technologist to join our team. This position involves working on projects that address weapon systems engineering and the application of advanced machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, as well as RF/Optical hardware prototyping and low rate production. The ideal candidate will have experience in electromagnetics phenomenology, computational analytics (algorithm acceleration and machine learning), and weapon system engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced machine learning and AI techniques for weapon systems engineering
• Contribute to the design and testing of RF/Optical hardware prototypes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate technology development timelines
• Apply agile development fundamentals to streamline technology development processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in electromagnetics phenomenology, computational analytics, or weapon system engineering
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and AI techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, C++, and/or MATLAB
• Experience with RF/Optical hardware prototyping and low rate production
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
