Reworker Labor 2nd Shift, Forest, MS

Tyson Foods is seeking a Reworker Labor Team Member to rework poultry products, ensuring quality and maximizing yield while adhering to food safety and production standards. This role involves sorting, processing, and reintroducing approved products back into production in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and process product designated for rework according to plant procedures.
• Inspect and sort product to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Open packages and remove products for reprocessing as needed.
• Dispose of packaging materials and waste in designated containers.
• Rotate and manage rework inventory using established procedures.
• Record and maintain accurate production and inventory documentation.
• Perform quality checks and follow all food safety requirements.
• Stack, move, and transport product and materials throughout the department.
• Assist with loading and unloading product when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area through routine housekeeping activities.
• Support production operations by performing assigned job rotations and cross-training activities.
• Follow all Tyson policies regarding safety, food safety, quality assurance, animal welfare, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must not have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times; rehires accepted after 365 days.
