Yuzu operates as a vertically integrated, tech‑enabled Third‑Party Administrator (TPA), servicing thousands of companies and enabling innovative health plans through new ways to pay for and access covered care.

The Opportunity

As the first Revenue Operations hire, you will build and run the backbone of Yuzu’s go‑to‑market engine. You will own the CRM/comp‑tooling architecture, reporting and dashboards, forecasting cadence, and end‑to‑end commission administration. Working closely with Sales, Finance, and leadership, you will shape the function from the ground up, with high autonomy and ownership.

What You’ll Do

• Own Yuzu’s Attio architecture end‑to‑end, ensuring structure, data integrity, and CRM hygiene.
• Maintain CRM standards as the team scales.
• Build reporting cadences and dashboards that serve as the team’s source of truth for forecast accuracy and pipeline health.
• Surface and synthesize important takeaways from the CRM for company leadership.
• Administer commission end‑to‑end: translate comp‑plan documents into calculation logic, ensure monthly/quarterly payout cycles have an audit trail, and provide rapid answers to rep payout questions.
• Manage account allocation across reps and reflect this allocation in the CRM.

Required Skillset

• 3–8 years in revenue operations, sales compensation/commissions, or business operations, preferably in B2B SaaS, insurance, or another commission‑driven sales organization.
• Direct, hands‑on experience administering sales commissions, including owning payout cycles, building/maintaining comp calculation logic, and resolving rep disputes.
• Strong, hands‑on CRM experience (Attio or similar); you have architected objects, properties, workflows, reporting, and hygiene.
• Deep comfort with data; Excel/Sheets is table‑stakes.
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over accuracy.

90‑Day Plan

First 30 Days

• Ramp on Yuzu’s product, GTM motion, comp plans, and current commission process.
• Audit current commission calculations, tracking, and payouts; map every manual step.
• Build context on CRM architecture, data hygiene, and identify biggest risks and gaps.
• Align with Sales and Finance leadership on current plan structures and known pain points.

First 60 Days

• Take ownership of commission calculation and payout cycle for a few cycles.
• Establish a documented, repeatable process for calculation, review, and dispute resolution.
• Begin cleaning up CRM data quality and reporting to support accurate, timely commission inputs.
• Identify high‑leverage fixes or tooling investments and present recommendations to leadership.

90 Days & Beyond

• Fully own commission administration end‑to‑end with a clean audit trail and predictable, on‑time payouts.
• Own core RevOps reporting and forecasting cadence that leadership relies on.
• Show measurable improvement in dispute volume, resolution time, and payout accuracy.
• Help shape the roadmap for the RevOps/commission function as it scales.

Location

This is a hybrid role – ideally about three days a week in Yuzu’s West Village, New York office.
