About the role
This role supports the design, documentation, and execution of complex event structures. You'll translate designs into accurate construction documents, coordinate with teams, and ensure drawing accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed Revit models and construction drawings
- Translate design concepts, engineering inputs, and field requirements into drawing packages
- Maintain and manage Revit models
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, CAD/design teams, and field personnel
- Revise and update drawings to reflect design changes
- Participate in design reviews, production meetings, and project handoffs
- Ensure drawing accuracy, dimensional integrity, and constructability
- Support QA/QC processes
- Contribute to workflow improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Designer, BIM Designer, or Revit Designer
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (architecture or structure focused)
- Strong understanding of construction documentation standards and coordination
- Excellent spatial reasoning and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong communication skills and collaboration abilities
- Proficiency with Windows-based PC environments and Microsoft Office
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in temporary structures, event infrastructure, staging, seating, or modular construction
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or related Autodesk platforms
- Understanding of fabrication workflows and constructability
- Knowledge of BIM standards, model coordination, and drawing control
- Ability to support 2D and 3D workflows across multiple software platforms
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Design, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
- 5 to 10 years of Revit experience
- Equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
