Revit Drafter (Onsite) at Industrial Design

Focus within a design team on creating and developing construction documents through close coordination with the Designer.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage as-built documentation and field observations.
- Develop files in Industrial Design’s authoring format (Revit).
- Produce and organize sheets, blocks/families, and annotations.
- Handle plotting and ensure clear communication with other disciplines.
- Adhere to design standards (text height, annotation standards, view usage, etc.).
- Maintain proper file housekeeping (layers, view allocations, phase allocation, etc.).
- Implement redline corrections from the Project Engineer.
- Revise construction documents based on RFI responses.
- Apply rev clouds and triangles to mark changes.
- Update models and convert construction as-builts into record sets (red to black).
Project Coordination
- Coordinate daily tasks with the Project Engineer to develop plans, sections, elevations, and details.
- Participate in design iterations until the overall design intent is achieved.
- Attend client coordination, internal coordination, and discipline coordination meetings as requested.
- Take meeting minutes and participate in design reviews when required.
Construction Administration
- Assist in revising project packages based on RFI responses and submittals.
- Coordinate with other disciplines based on design changes.
- Participate in field walks and Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings as directed.
Environmental Factors & Physical Demands
- Field work involving heights, enclosed spaces, extreme temperatures, noise, and other hazards.
- Physical demands include sitting, standing, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience.
- Some travel may be required.
- Must be a local candidate residing in the metro Phoenix area or willing to self-relocate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or Autodesk program-related certificate of completion.
- Ten (10) years of related experience.
