Overview
Kimley-Horn is looking for an Experienced Revit Operator to join our MEP team in Reno, Nevada (NV).
Responsibilities
- The person in this position will use basic computer drafting software to model mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to generate site plans and construction drawings for Kimley-Horn projects
- Designing and producing sets of plans; implementing and managing AutoCAD/REVIT drafting and plan preparation standards
- Lead cross discipline clash detection process during design
- Pick up comments during reviews and update design accordingly
- Assists in maintaining drawing database
- Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data
- Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Autodesk, REVIT MEP preferred
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
- Ability to work independently and with a team
