About the role
The Stacks Management Team provides accurate, managed items that are easily accessible to users of Bizzell Memorial Library and its collections. Travel is not required. A valid driver's license is preferred. Hiring is contingent upon verification of current student status and a background check is not required.
Responsibilities
- Shelving books
- Picking up books left out of place
- Measures incoming and outgoing materials
- Shelf reads, straightens, and dusts materials
- Assists patrons looking for books and refers other questions to other library and university departments
- Searches for missing books
- Shifts portions of the collection
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status. Required attachments: class schedule.
