Key job responsibilities

  • Continual, tactical communication with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (FBA, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers, IT Field Team).
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written as you will be required to create narratives outlining findings on tickets/requests on shipment inquiries and updating correspondence on tickets to keep the customer informed at each step of the way.
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed.
  • Lead initiatives to re-engineer business processes and identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in Amazon’s transportation operations.
  • Must be able to systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
  • Able to pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Develop performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
  • Able to scope out business and functional requirements for the Amazon tech teams who create and enhance the software systems and tools we use.
  • Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly metrics and performances dashboards as requested.
  • Must be able to quickly understand the business impact of the trends and make decisions that make sense based on available data.

GTL is dedicated to understanding customer expectations and identifying opportunities that enhance customer experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) experience
  • High school or equivalent
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of transportation and supply chain experience
