About the role
Visionist has an exciting new, fully funded opportunity for a Reverse Engineer on our prime contract. Visionist software developers perform reverse engineering and low-level development to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigations/solutions across a wide range of devices and software. This mission supports our most recent prime contract award. If you enjoy rewarding work developing tools for user interaction, this role is for you.

Responsibilities
- Perform reverse engineering and debugging on existing software
- Identify defects in software and provide ways to correct them
- Research open-source vulnerabilities related to software
- Develop methods and techniques to identify if running software is vulnerable
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (additional 4 years of experience may substitute for the degree)
- 5 years of experience in reverse engineering (3 years with a Master's degree)
- Experience with low-level programming and assembly language
- Knowledge of C/C++ and Python
- Knowledge of industry-standard reverse-engineering tools
- U.S. citizenship required (green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible)
- Applicants selected will be required to obtain/maintain a government security clearance

Pay
Salary range: $125,000 - $180,000
