About the role
Weeghman & Briggs is seeking a motivated and mission-driven Reverse Engineer 4 to support critical government initiatives in San Antonio, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Support mission-critical programs in secure government environments
- Analyze requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results
- Ensure compliance with contract and security standards
- Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and performance
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, in order to ascertain functionality, capability, call-backs, assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise.
- Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.
- Experience supporting government or DoD programs
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Doctoral degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree with 9 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree with 11 years of relevant experience.
- Associates degree with 13 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Relevant experience must be in malware reverse engineering.
Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (CISSP/GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM/CREA), eCRE, MCSI Certified Reverse Engineer (MRE), Information Assurance Certification, etc.)
- Experience supporting the Department of Defense (DOD)
- Agile, cloud, or modernization experience

The projected salary range for this position is $192,200-$213,500, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and contract requirements.
