Revenue Planning Expert (Train AI Models Part Time!)
hackajob is collaborating with Mercor to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role. Mercor is recruiting UK-based Revenue Planning Experts for a research project with a leading frontier AI lab.
About the role
We are seeking experienced analysts with 3+ years in FP&A, revenue analytics, commercial finance, or business intelligence, with advanced spreadsheet modeling and data reconciliation skills. Strong candidates can reconcile data across finance, sales, and campaign systems, and carefully distinguish booked, billed, recognized, and collected revenue.
You'll help create, review, and evaluate high-quality revenue planning scenarios, leveraging your experience in forecasting, variance analysis, and commercial reporting. Strong candidates define margin and cost categories consistently and can turn a variance analysis into a simple explanation of what happened, why, and what to do next.
This is a full-time engagement running from 10 August 2026 to 4 September 2026. The project team collaborates on a UK business-hours rhythm, with live team sessions each working day and occasional evening messages. The project pays two weeks of garden leave at the end of the engagement, with a one month non-compete running concurrently. Successful contributions increase the likelihood of being selected for future Mercor projects.
Candidates must be based in the United Kingdom and have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
