Revenue Cycle Specialist

About the role

Oversees the revenue cycle of our not-for-profit company; billing for private pay, Medicare, and secondary insurances. Receive cash collections and complete bank deposits. Follow-up with delinquent accounts and the collection process. Focuses on keeping the revenue flowing through the billing and AR process.

Requirements

• Business Degree or equivalent work experience in the healthcare financial field.
• Prefer 3–5 years of related healthcare finance experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Thorough knowledge of billing requirements/regulations of the major third party insurance carriers.
• Extensive knowledge of policies, procedures, systems and equipment relating to pre-admission, billing, and collections.
• Ability to develop policies, procedures, processes and projects that will benefit our company.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide, direct, train, and interact with internal and external customers.
