About the role

We are seeking a Revenue Engine Driver to oversee the billing lifecycle across our DME, Telehealth, and Data verticals. This role involves managing vendor relationships, resolving denials, and building robust systems for billing at scale. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of healthcare operations, claim strategy, and health tech M&A integration.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full billing lifecycle, from EDI payor enrollment and claim submission to remittance posting and patient collections
  • Drive daily cash flow by monitoring A/R aging, identifying stalled claims, and proactively resolving payor edits, rejections, and denials
  • Manage EDI infrastructure, ensuring all trading partner agreements are executed and tested before go-live dates
  • Lead the denial management program, building and running a structured workflow with RCM leadership, tracking root-cause trends, and implementing upstream fixes
  • Act as the primary point of contact for outsourced billing vendors and billing software partners, holding them accountable for service level agreements (SLAs), submission quotas, or timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs) assigned by leadership

Requirements

You must have hands-on experience in medical billing, particularly within the DME sector. You should be familiar with the intricacies of DME billing and Telehealth integration. You need to demonstrate a proven track record of reducing A/R aging and denial rates, and you should be able to identify and address the root causes of these issues.

Qualifications

High autonomy in creating billing protocols from scratch based on proactive research is crucial. You should have a strong systems-first mindset, focusing on automation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prevent recurring problems. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with vendors are also essential.

Skills

Your background should include experience in healthcare operations, claim strategy, and health tech M&A integration. You should be proficient in DME billing and understand the interplay between DME and Telehealth services. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure are highly valued.
