Revenue Cycle Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage outside coding vendor including setting of coding rules, approving coding recommendations, and coding reports as needed (approximately 25,000/year).
• Create physician education program to ensure proper documentation to maximize overall reimbursement.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in the area of coding, billing, compliance, educating the physician population and answering questions they may have.
• Audit the billing records kept by the facility, ensuring that all billing and coding procedures have been followed.
• Actively work with UCPC's compliance program to ensure departmental adherence to policies.
• Review reports and follow-up on billed charges including TES edits.
• Prepare accounts receivable and IDX reports, as needed.
• Ensure entry of daily charge information, including CPT, ICD-9, and HCPCS codes as provided by outside vendor.
• Maintain AAPC coding certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required and Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of management experience.
