Work Schedule

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Applicants hired into this position must be onsite in Madison, WI one to two times per year. This will be discussed during the interview process.

About the Role

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst I to:

  • Perform advanced data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in the revenue cycle for areas such as claim denials, payment delays, and revenue leakage.
  • Utilize a variety of analytical methods, tools, models, and techniques, including but not limited to Epic dashboards, reporting workbench, SlicerDicer, SQL, Clarity, and Caboodle.
  • Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership/department delegates to identify key areas of focus and develop data-driven strategies to improve financial outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business, healthcare, statistics, analytics or another related field
  • Required: Master's Degree in accounting, finance, business, healthcare, statistics, analytics or another related field
  • PREFERRED: Master's Degree in accounting, finance, business, healthcare, statistics, analytics or another related field
  • Required: 2 years of experience in data analytics, preferably within a healthcare revenue cycle context.
  • PREFERRED: 3 years of experience in data analytics, preferably within a healthcare revenue cycle context.

Skills

  • Advanced data analysis skills
  • Knowledge of Epic dashboards, reporting workbench, SlicerDicer, SQL, Clarity, and Caboodle
  • Data-driven strategy development
  • Collaboration with revenue cycle leadership/delegates
