About the role
As our Part-Time Revenue Auditor at Ellis Park Racing & Gaming, you’ll act as a financial detective, balancing the books across departments, identifying trends, and ensuring smooth operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving puzzles, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily audits across cost centers, including Gaming, Cage, Food & Beverage, and Mutuels.
- Draft preliminary revenue journal entries in alignment with GAAP and the company’s chart of accounts.
- Build and distribute daily financial reports to keep leadership informed of operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with property standard operating procedures and internal controls.
- Investigate and resolve financial variances, communicating findings clearly.
- Maintain organized archives of key financial documents for regulatory compliance.
- Take on additional tasks and special projects as the business evolves.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting or revenue audit settings.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
