Responsibilities
- Audit the casino revenue generated by all slot machines, table games, and poker games.
- Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules summarizing daily activity.
- Performs the daily audit of slot machines, table games, and poker games.
- Controls issuance and tracking of sensitive forms to ensure proper control of the documents.
- Maintains control of documents to ensure proper distribution.
- Maintain records of forms and/or documents prepared for and submitted to regulatory and or governmental agencies.
- Assume various responsibilities and perform various duties on special projects as necessary.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or casino hotel operations is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of internal control procedures within gaming operations is preferred.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to accurately calculate, reconcile, and interpret financial data are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; experience with Access database software is preferred.
- Experience with financial and casino systems such as Infinium, CMS, or SDS, or similar platforms is a plus.
- A high attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and organization is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently are essential.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service–focused approach are required.
- The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity is crucial.
- A strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced 24/7 environment are necessary.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, maintaining positive working relationships is important.
