Essential Functions
- Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service.
- Responsible for auditing all casino accounting activities.
- Responsible for verification of paper trails of all casino monies as required by gaming regulations and Internal Controls.
- Responsible for auditing jackpots, hopper fill, table fill, and table credit transactions and the verification of attendance counts.
- Responsible for the reporting of daily income.
- Maintains manual accounting logs.
- Responsible for all non-gaming audits.
Non-essential Job Functions
- Attends seminars when needed.
Education And /Or Experience Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in casino revenue audit.
Additional Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
- Must successfully pass background check.
- Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data and casino policies.
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of the gaming industry, including principles and practices of a capital and operations budget.
- The following office systems: Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and other accounting systems.
- 10-Key calculator.
- Sound interpersonal judgment and decision-making skills.
- Financial systems and proficiency with spreadsheet software.
- Audit functions.
- Regulatory requirements.
Ability
- To perform basic mathematical problems.
- To spend time on the Casino floor and is subject to varying levels of crowds and noise, and the severity of which depends upon guest volume.
- To review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
- To perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- To effectively perform multiple tasks.
- To interface professionally with business contacts and guests.
- To communicate effectively with coworkers, and management.
- To be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
- To interpret policies and procedures.
- To obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
- To maintain confidentiality, understanding the potential impact on the department.
Pay Range
