Essential Functions

  • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service.
  • Responsible for auditing all casino accounting activities.
  • Responsible for verification of paper trails of all casino monies as required by gaming regulations and Internal Controls.
  • Responsible for auditing jackpots, hopper fill, table fill, and table credit transactions and the verification of attendance counts.
  • Responsible for the reporting of daily income.
  • Maintains manual accounting logs.
  • Responsible for all non-gaming audits.

Non-essential Job Functions

  • Attends seminars when needed.

Education And /Or Experience Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in casino revenue audit.

Additional Requirements

  • Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data and casino policies.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of the gaming industry, including principles and practices of a capital and operations budget.
  • The following office systems: Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and other accounting systems.
  • 10-Key calculator.
  • Sound interpersonal judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Financial systems and proficiency with spreadsheet software.
  • Audit functions.
  • Regulatory requirements.

Ability

  • To perform basic mathematical problems.
  • To spend time on the Casino floor and is subject to varying levels of crowds and noise, and the severity of which depends upon guest volume.
  • To review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
  • To perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • To effectively perform multiple tasks.
  • To interface professionally with business contacts and guests.
  • To communicate effectively with coworkers, and management.
  • To be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
  • To interpret policies and procedures.
  • To obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
  • To maintain confidentiality, understanding the potential impact on the department.

Pay Range

$15 - $20/
