About the role
The Revenue Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC guidelines, and providing financial reporting support to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the revenue recognition process and ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain accurate revenue forecasts
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for management decision-making
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations
- Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a revenue recognition role
- CPA certification preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of industry-specific accounting standards and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Pay
- Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually
