Revenue Accountant

Join a growing finance team as a Revenue Accountant supporting revenue recognition and contract review work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation and experience with ASC 606 who enjoys digging into contracts, partnering cross-functionally, and supporting audit requests while helping bring order and clarity to revenue processes.

Responsibilities

• Support revenue recognition processes in accordance with ASC 606
• Review contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment
• Partner cross-functionally with teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting
• Assist with internal and external audit requests and documentation
• Analyze revenue data and maintain detailed records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or closely related field)
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, especially ASC 606 (revenue recognition)
• Experience with contract review and revenue recognition treatment
• Audit support experience (internal and/or external)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
• Hybrid work arrangement: expected onsite presence 2–3 days per week in New York, NY

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, ideally including revenue accounting exposure
• Experience with NetSuite or Salesforce
• Industry experience in services, advertising, or SaaS environments
