REVELxp - Operations Game Day Intern, University of Cincinnati
Position Summary
REVELxp is the exclusive tailgate partner for the University of Cincinnati football program and provides self-service and full-service tailgates for clients at multiple sites around Nippert Stadium. Game day interns vital to the smooth operation of each game day, as members of the staff represent the REVELxp brand while providing assistance, hospitality, and customer service to each tailgating guest.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Team-oriented mindset, with a commitment to ensuring a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, peers, and supervisors.
- Must be available to work every home game (August to late November) (10-12 hours).
- Able to problem solve under pressure
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritizing skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Dependable and trustworthy
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable transportation
- Must be at least 16 years old and able to work 10-20 hours per week.
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with carrying, setting up, and moving equipment.
- Able to be on their feet for extended periods of time
Expectations
The intern is expected to act in a courteous manner and dress presentably as he/she will be representing UC Athletics and REVELxp. The intern is also expected to work closely with his/her immediate manager and keep the manager informed of any issues relating to donor/employee safety and satisfaction. The intern should understand that he/she will be perceived by donors and staff as a management team member.
