About the role
The Reunion Giving Officer plays a critical role in advancing Manhattanville University’s philanthropic priorities by leading strategic reunion fundraising efforts focused on milestone reunion classes and leadership-level alumni engagement.
Responsibilities
- Manage a dynamic portfolio of reunion and leadership-level prospects, with responsibility for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of gifts ranging from $1,000 to $25,000 and above.
- Lead fundraising strategy development for milestone reunion classes, establishing participation and philanthropic goals that support institutional priorities.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and manage reunion volunteers and class committees to support peer-to-peer outreach, donor engagement, and reunion fundraising initiatives.
- Partner closely with colleagues in Alumni Relations, Annual Giving, and Leadership Giving to coordinate reunion campaigns, stewardship efforts, and alumni engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with Advancement Events and campus partners to integrate fundraising strategies into Heart & Home Weekend, alumni gatherings, regional programs, and special events.
- Conduct personal outreach, donor visits, virtual meetings, and stewardship activities to strengthen alumni relationships and identify leadership and major gift opportunities.
- Utilize Advancement CRM systems and prospect research tools to track donor engagement, analyze giving trends, and support reunion fundraising performance goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely donor records, contact reports, solicitation strategies, and follow-up activity within the University’s database systems.
- Partner with Annual Giving to ensure thoughtful stewardship and recognition of reunion donors, volunteers, and leadership contributors.
- Support targeted fundraising initiatives, including reunion campaigns, class challenges, giving days, and other Advancement priorities.
- Represent the University at alumni events, campus programs, and donor engagement opportunities, including evening and weekend activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
- Professional presence and sound judgment in interactions with internal and external constituents.
- Experience utilizing donor databases, CRM platforms, and fundraising software preferred.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
- Willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed for alumni and fundraising events.
