About the Role
The Returns Lead role is a full-time position focused on optimizing and prioritizing the team’s productivity and accuracy in processing customer returns.
Responsibilities
- Train new and existing agents.
- Prioritize daily tasks based on schedules and priorities.
- Report attendance and request additional resources when necessary, based on forecasted units.
- Troubleshoot exceptions to ensure continuous processing.
- Develop expert abilities in the returns, repack, and steaming departments.
- Test new process improvements.
- Benchmark and evaluate employees.
- Order supplies for the team as needed.
- Provide daily productivity reports.
- Perform department-specific tasks (e.g., working alongside returns, repacking, and steaming departments; reading reports).
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse and leading a large group.
- Computer literate in Excel, Word, and email.
- Experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Proven work experience in a warehouse environment (as lead/supervisor or above).
- Dependable and hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
- Works well in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (bilingual preferred).
- Highly effective training skills and techniques.
- Basic working knowledge of communicating through emails.
- Bilingual (Spanish & English).
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly range for this role is $18.50/hr to $21.50/hr.
