About the role
Snowcat Operators groom ski runs after lift operation hours and assist with snowmaking during the early season.
Schedule
- Five 8-hour shifts: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Four 10-hour graveyard shifts: 12:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Responsible for safe and efficient operation of snowcats
- Conduct daily machine inspections
- Work as part of a team of operators to prepare the slopes for guests
- May be required to work outside in all weather conditions
- Shovel snow as needed
- Maintain clean cab and windows
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry 50 lbs
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Previous operation of heavy equipment is required
- Grooming experience is preferred but not required
