Primary Responsibilities
- Customer Support Excellence: Resolve technical queries via phone and email, and perform in-house troubleshooting and repairs to keep critical equipment running smoothly.
- Contract & Equipment Care: Take ownership of preventative maintenance contracts, ensuring both Verder Scientific lab units and customer equipment operate at peak performance.
- Quoting & Relationship Building: Prepare accurate spare parts quotations while fostering strong, trusted relationships with key accounts and end users.
- Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean, efficient, and well-organized workspace that supports quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Technical Foundation: An Associate’s Degree in a technical field, or at least 3 years of hands-on experience as a maintenance/service technician in a lab or industrial environment.
- Practical Expertise: Confidence working with single and three-phase wiring; experience using tools such as multimeters and clamp meters; ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings; and a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
- Digital & System Skills: Sound experience with CRM and ERP systems is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Professional Strengths: Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
