Retread Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Retread Associate who embodies the "extra mile" philosophy. This role involves initial and CIA inspections, de-enveloping, painting, and other processes to revitalize commercial truck tires using Michelin Retread methods.

Responsibilities

• Initial and CIA Inspection
• De-Enveloping
• Painting
• Chamber Envelope Repair
• X-Ray Buffer
• Final Inspection
• Cure
• Tire Building
• Shipping/Receiving

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in similar role or industry is a plus
• Forklift certification, obtained after employment
• Commercial TIA certification preferred

• Pass background check and drug screen
• Safety conscious at all times
• Results-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Coachable, hardworking, and possess general mechanical aptitude
• Strong time management skills, close attention to detail
• Reliable and dependable with self-initiative
• Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
• Ability to learn and operate provided service equipment and hand tools
• Ability to work a rotating, on-call schedule, including nights and weekends
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer and/or smart phone skills
