Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for customers transferring funds and/or accounts from previous firms into existing Empower accounts.
- Provide optimal service and follow-up to dedicated customers throughout the transfer or rollover process.
- Oversight of not-in-good-order items associated with the transfer process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is submitted and in good order.
- Follow up with customers as needed to resolve any outstanding issues.
- Manage scheduled customer appointments, follow up on outstanding tasks, and research transfer items with a focus on maintaining a professional image.
- Deliver personalized service and respond to a variety of questions by exhibiting listening, patience, empathy, authenticity, proactivity, and perseverance with external and internal customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
- No degree, a minimum of four years of directly related experience is required.
- Three years of customer service experience, preferably in a financial service-related field.
- FINRA Fingerprinting required.

- Collaborative team player demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and various file manipulation skills on a PC.
- Basic understanding of IRAs, retirement investment products/services, and the qualified retirement plan environment.
- Motivated, self-starter with the interest to learn new information quickly and independently.

Pay
Base Salary Range: $55,300.00 - $76,075.00
The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
