About the role

Compliance Administrators serve as subject matter experts in the retirement compliance administration space. Most administrators operate within a queued work environment, utilizing Salesforce to manage and delegate tasks efficiently. While this role is generally non-client facing, senior compliance administrators may occasionally engage with clients via email or meetings when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt, accurate, and thorough communication related to retirement plan administration and compliance.
  • Support the client-facing team by ensuring accurate data handling and adherence to deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain the operational integrity of each retirement plan.
  • Partner with senior team members for peer reviews and provide some peer review support to level I administrators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years’ of experience in financial services or related field.
  • Applicable ASPPA designations or similar certifications preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written/oral communication, organization, and client service skills required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain professional working relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work independently and set priorities.
  • Ability to interpret documents and resolve technical problems.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Available to work overtime to cover peak workloads and other business needs.
  • Ability to identify process improvement, serve as a project liaison for the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years’ of experience in financial services or related field.

Pay

$55,000 - $65,000 based on experience

Schedule

Work is typically performed in an office setting. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office utilizing proper ergonomic safeguards when doing so. Additionally, the employee must occasionally lift or move supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.
