About the role
This role reports to the Director, Product Management and is responsible for driving the product vision and delivery of initiatives for our Retirement & Wealth business line with an agile squad focused on the client experience. The squad is empowered and accountable to build new products, features, and enhancements to the existing product line while increasing business operational efficiency, retiring legacy systems, and aligning tactical decisions with strategic architectural principles. The ideal candidate will be strategic, innovative, and creative with a solid analytic foundation.
Responsibilities
- Creates compelling individual investor product experiences.
- Drives strategy by conducting product and competitive research to shape long- and short-term strategy while providing quick, clear value to the business.
- Facilitates prioritization for a domain and aligns product roadmaps with a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Tracks and regularly shares progress with stakeholders and the team.
- Ensures each product has defined OKRs and ongoing monitoring and reporting.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders, various business lines, and Technology to elicit, analyze, and understand needs, constraints, risks, and alignment with organizational strategy and priorities.
- Enforces quality standards and best practices, ensuring Agile methods, processes, tools, and metrics deliver consistent value.
- Ensures discovery is co-led and ongoing across squads, spot-checks the quality of discovery outputs, and removes barriers to user, data, and stakeholder access.
- Ensures Product Managers apply consistent measurement rigor and optimization discipline, and coaches them on analytics, experimentation, and insight-driven prioritization.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.

- Provides direction, guidance, and support to a team of employees. Sets clear expectations, delegates tasks, and ensures effective communication within the team.
