Retinal Ophthalmologist

Come join a company that strives for Extraordinary People and Exceptional Performance! Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Retinal Ophthalmologist in support of the Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Perform intravitreal injections.
• Administer laser treatments.
• Conduct pre and post treatment evaluations.
• Provide other services dealing with ophthalmological disorders.
• Ensure treatment for patients with diabetic retinopathy adheres to the current American Academy of Ophthalmology Preferred Patterns of Practice for Diabetic Retinopathy.
• Anticipate approximately thirty (30) individual patient consultations, five (5) laser treatments, and ten (10) intravitreal injections per one‑day clinic.

Qualifications

• Permanent, current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
• Board Certified in or Board Eligible in Ophthalmologic Medicine.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current DEA license.

Schedule

This position will support the Retinal Consultation and Treatment Clinic for 4‑16 hours a month (4 hours is the anticipated average a month).
