Retention Marketing Producer

About the role

We're a retention-only email and SMS agency for Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce brands. No paid ads, no SEO, no social — just lifecycle marketing done well. We're a Klaviyo Platinum Partner and serve brands across beauty, wellness, food & beverage, and apparel. Our clients attribute 20–35% of their total store revenue to email within six months of working with us.

Responsibilities

• Owning a small book of client accounts end-to-end, including strategy, Klaviyo execution, SMS, flow architecture, campaign calendars, client communication, and reporting.
• Built and optimized lifecycle architecture for key client segments such as welcome, post-purchase, browse/cart abandon, winback, VIP, and replenishment.
• Planned and executed campaign calendars, maintaining segmentation and suppression logic.
• Reviewed performance monthly with a narrative, not just a number dump.
• Ran client calls with confidence, addressing issues proactively rather than waiting for them to escalate.

Requirements

• 2+ years in retention marketing — agency-side preferred, but brand-side with real program ownership considered.
• Klaviyo required. An understanding of another SMS platform is a strong plus.
• Experience with flows and the ability to defend their importance in client conversations.
• The ability to read and interpret performance data to make informed decisions.
• An organized approach to managing multiple clients without compromising quality.
