Retailer/Cashier/Barista

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers in-store or over the phone, adhering to Paris Baguette’s high standards of excellence.
• Inspect the quality of all products on display and manage the rotation of pastries and desserts.
• Prepare beverages based on demand during operating hours, including coffee.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the store while open for business.
• Refill and organize pastries and beverages on display.
• Work with a high sense of urgency, honesty, integrity, and efficiency.
• Assist guests with inquiries, educate them on menu items, and inform them of special promotions.
• Operate the POS system (Toast), handling cash and credit card transactions with accuracy.
• Learn about Paris Baguette’s quality products, specialty menu items, and coffee.
• Greet guests warmly by making eye contact, smiling, and spreading joy.
• Prioritize the guest experience by answering questions, assisting with order decisions, and enhancing their visit through suggestive selling.
• Foster a welcoming environment where guests and team members feel comfortable seeking assistance, maintaining positivity and joy in every interaction.
