Knowledge and Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent customer service to all guests, adhering to Zinc’s high standards.
  • Pays attention to guests, greeting them by making eye contact, smiling, and spreading joy, creating excitement about the brand.
  • Aids guests with inquiries, educates them on menu items and special promotions.
  • Handles guest situations with kindness and empathy, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Uses sound judgment to suggest upselling opportunities and enhance the guest experience.
  • Checks the quality of displayed products and ensures merchandising and presentation align with company direction.
  • Prepares drinks for retail and dining room, including batch preparation.
  • Ensures cleanliness throughout the store, both during and after operating hours.
  • Completes opening, mid, and closing procedures, as well as daily work assignments.
  • Works with a high sense of urgency, honesty, integrity, and efficiency.
  • Works specific stations as needed:
    • Barista: Creates expertly crafted brewed goods for guests.
    • POS: Interacts directly with guests, focusing on packaging pastries, suggesting made-to-order beverages, taking to-go orders, and inviting guests to return.
    • Greeter: Offers a warm welcome to guests and directs them to the appropriate area.
    • Mercandiser: Focuses on re-stocking products and maintaining aesthetically pleasing displays.
    • Pick-Up Specialist: Ensures all pickup and delivery orders are prepared, packaged, and fulfilled in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of Retail, Customer Service, and food handling experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED or some college preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Positive and passionate attitude.
  • High sense of integrity and ownership.
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Time management, prioritization, and following directions.
  • Adherence to food safety guidelines.
  • Understanding of cash handling and transaction accuracy.
