Retail Zone Team Leader

About the Role

Ollie’s Retail Zone Team Leader provides guidance and direction for the successful operation of a particular zone of the overall retail sales floor. The role oversees a team passionate about merchandising, selling merchandise, and ensuring an exceptional associate and customer experience, with responsibilities spanning merchandising, customer service oversight, and team supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute established procedures for assigned zone, including merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, and daily recovery.
• Ensure store standards, operational compliance, seasonal planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.
• Oversee merchandise planning, receipt, and stocking to ensure the sales floor is properly stocked.
• Manage scheduling and staffing for effective unload/processing of merchandise to the sales floor while driving associate productivity, daily task assignment, and customer service standards.
• Supervise associates within the assigned zone and communicate company directives to ensure follow-up is completed.
• Perform all Team Leader functions to open and close the store when needed and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
